Members of the Water Policy Institute are invited to participate in monthly discussions by conference call with Advisory Panel members and other invited water leaders, and will receive monthly Institute podcasts from thought leaders on critical water developments. Members are also invited to attend the Institute's biannual meetings in Washington, DC.
The Institute will produce two white papers this year. While the papers will be shaped by the members in discussion with the Advisory Panel and other water leaders, some of the more pressing issues include sustainable sources of clean water for potable and industrial uses, water reuse and reclamation, energy and water, and the increasing convergence of water quality and water quantity issues.
The Institute’s website will serve as source for information about water issues, with a water calendar identifying key meetings, symposia and conferences of interest; postings of news, articles, legislative materials and speeches; and links to regulatory sites. The members-only section of the website will provide privileged access to podcasts, meeting notes and commentary, and other Institute materials.
